Trash the Dress is shot on a separate occasion to your actual wedding. There are no creative limits, no mother in law anxious about the state of your arrival, and no caterers nervously looking at their watches. A Trash the Dress shoot matches times, lighting and locations to suit. Compared to an actual wedding, we are better able to match the circumstances to the desired outcome. We do not have the same travel restrictions, or time constraints as an actual wedding.
Our personal approach to Trash the Dress is to try not to actually trash the dress. Possibly this is what may make Trash the Dress just a fad. I would prefer to treat Trash the Dress as a creative, post-wedding portraiture, where you can even include your new husband and create some different types of art like photographs, with new ways to express your personalities and love for each other in unique, fun and adventurous settings. Our intention is to create stunning images that complement your wedding day. Unconstrained from preserving that pristine state of your dress, new opportunities exist. Yet this does not assume any actual damage. Yet if you want to get wet, get off road, get adventurous..., then why not??!!
